Day 1 – ARRIVAL SRINAGAR

On arrival in Srinagar, Transfer to Hotel for check in. After a brief rest, proceed for a brief City Tour followed by Boat Ride on Dal Lake

Srinagar (Lake City) – It is at once a collection of images: It tells the story of love of the Mughal Emperors for this paradise like vale with deep green rice fields, rivers, gardens in bloom and lakes rimmed by houseboats, where lush wild gardens of lotus and water-lily grow amidst bustling lanes.

Evening enjoy a shikara ride-it is one of the most soothing, relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. Shikaras are long boats, which crowd the Srinagar lakes. They are used for getting back and forth from the houseboats or for longer tours. It is worth to take a pleasure ride around the lake in shikara. Shikara is a Gondola type light rowing boat. The boat ride
takes tourists on a relaxing sightseeing tour of interior parts of the calm and placid waters of Dal Lake, and be part of shopping- by-shikara expeditions. Because the Dal is so central to the landscape of Srinagar, many places of tourist interest have, over the ages, been built in its vicinity. 

Day 2 – SRINAGAR

SRINAGAR Full day Local Sightseeing.

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, previously Model Floriculture Center, is a tulip garden in Srinagar. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 74 acres. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake. The garden was opened in 2007 with the aim to boost floriculture and tourism in Kashmir Valley.

NishatBagh (Garden of Pleasure) – The largest Mughal garden situated on the banks of world famous Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills encircles the Dal Lake. Empress Noor Jahan’s brother Asif Khan laid the Garden in 1633 AD. Nishat has seven terraces with a beautiful central water course flowing right in the middle. These terraces rise dramatically off the mountains from the eastern part of the lake.

Shalimar Bagh(Garden of Pleasure) – It was planted by Mughal emperor Jehangir for Empress Noor Jahan in 1619 AD and later extended in 1727 A.D. by Shah.

DAY 03 – SRINGAR- SONMARG

Srinagar to Sonmarg @ 2 hrs drive. Over Night in Sonmarg.

Sonmarg: 2800mts above sea level. at the head of the river Sind with beautiful mountains and glaciers, is the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai, Vishensar Lake, gangabal and to Nara Nag. Also the Pilgrim route to Amarnath Cave, which can be done in one day from here. Famous for Trout fishing.

Sonamarg had historical significance as a gateway on the ancient, Silk Road, connecting Jammu and Kashmir with Tibet Today; the hill station is a popular tourist destination amongst fishers and hikers.

The hill station is situated in the Kashmir Valley, at an altitude of 2,730 metres and is close to some of the valley’s tallest peaks, alongside the Machoi Glacier, Sirbal Peak, Kolahoi Peak, Amarnath Peak and Machoi Peak. Combined with the alpine meadows that bloom in the summer as well as rivers and lakes stocked with fish, Sonamarg is a notable tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sonamarg gives rise to the ‘Three Sisters’—a group of rivers (the Lidder, Sind and Neelum) that run parallel to each other and serve as tributaries for the major Jhelum River that runs through the Kashmir Valley and into Pakistan.

Day 4 – SONMARG-GULMARG
Sonmarg to Gulmarg @ 3 hrs drive. Over Night in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg (Meadow of Gold) – was discovered as a tourist destination by
the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmarg valley.It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the PirPanjal range at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level and one of the most famous tourist destinations of Kashmir.

The best and longest ski run of 3 kilometres in Gulmarg is accessed by the Gondola Cable Car Lift, which allows a ski run of 2,213 metres descent. The gondola ascent extends almost to the peak of Apharwat, at an elevation of 3980 metres above sea level. Optional Gulmarg Gondola With the setting-up of the Gondola Cable Car Lift from Gulmarg to Apharwat top, Gulmarg has become one of the highest lift-served ski resorts in the world. The total aerial
distance covered by Gulmarg Gondola is 5 kilometres.

Day 5 – GULMARG-PAHALGAM
Gulmarg to Pahalgam @ 3.5 hrs drive. Over Night in Pahalgam.

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, en-route visit Saffron fields of Pampora, see the beautiful countryside, lots of rice fields, Later continue your drive to Pahalgam through the pine forest, the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder River which are famous for their scenic beauty. On arrival proceed for check-in.

Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) – It is a resort set in a pristine village lying next to the Lidder River. Once a humble hepherd’s village with breathtaking views. now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cools even during
the heights of summer. It is situated at an altitude of 2,130 m above sea level and has a golf course at 2400 meters above the sea level. Surrounded with fragrant pine forests, the idyllic resort includes a golf course and spots for angling.

Day 6 – PAHALGAM

After a leisurely breakfast, full day free to enjoy and explore the Beauty of “Pahalgam” ( On Own/ Optional ) One can go to Aru (10 kms from Pahalgam) which is a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier & Trsar Lake) & Betaab Valley. Time and weather permitting Chandanwaari could be visited.

ARU VALLEY It is located around 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder river The Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty. Other popular tourist activities include fishing of trout in the Lidder river, trekking, hiking, horse riding, sightseeing and photography.

BETAAB VALLEY Situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol– Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Betaab Valley is a very popular touristic destination. Betaab Valley is also a favorite campsite of travellers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains. The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight; locals here drink this water too. Baisaran and Tulian Lake are few nearby attractions that can be visited.

CHANDANWARI Situated 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. Taxi cabs can be hired from Pahalgam for a roundtrip. Snow fights” is what people generally indulge in here before they sledge back down. Many prefer to sip a cup of tea of snack at the nearby dhabas. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Day 7 – SRINAGAR AIRPORT (FLY OUT)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Srinagar Airport for flight home with happy memories.
